The Vail SIP TIM has been installed but the Vail services do not appear in the services control panel
After installing the Vail SIP TIM, you will see 4 Vail services in the Services control panel:
- VailTimCallManager
- VailTimCall
- VailSIPTIMSoap
- VailSIPTIMCSTA
The Services control panel can be accessed through Start->All Programs->Administrative Tools->Services .
If the Vail services do not appear in this services control panel, or if the Vail services are not starting properly, you will need to reinstall the Vail SIP TIM:
- Stop all the Vail services
- Back up the csta.conf.xml file
- Uninstall the Vail SIP TIM
- Reboot the machine
- Verify that all 4 Vail services do not appear in the services control panel
- Reinstall the Vail SIP TIM
- Restore the csta.conf.xml file
- Confirm that all 4 of the Vail services are in the services control panel in a stopped state
- Start TAS. This should also start all 4 of the Vail services
